Born in 1960 in South Wales, picked up a camera when I was 12. An old pop-out bellows
camera bought for £2 and a couple of rolls of 120 film and I was on my way. A Zenith
E, built like a tank, was my next step up the ladder. Followed by a selection of
Practicas, Pentaxes and Olympus cameras followed. Going digital took a while, however
now I am completely converted. Portraiture is another favourite and especially B
& W. Family shots with a difference. Andre Kertesz has been a long time inspiration.
Going from the Darkroom to the laptop has been an interesting journey. At least
I don’t have to put up with the smell of fixer anymore......
